A Waterford man is to be the next chairman of the Health Service Executive.
The Minister for Health has announced that Dr Frank Dolphin will replace Liam Downey, whose two year term ends next month.
Dr Dolphin has previously chaired Temple Street Hospital and was on the Board of Governors of the Mater Hospital.
He is also the chairman and founder of Rigney Dolphin, which employs 1100 people in Waterford.
