The Mayor of Wexford says government Ministers may be forced to intervene in the planned closure of the
Waterford Rosslare rail line.
Irish Rail confirmed this week that the line would close on July 21st but this move still doesn't not have the approval of the National Transport Authority.
Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey and Junior Minister Ciaran Cuffe have both said the closure is an operational matter for Irish rail, but the Mayor of Wexford Joe Ryan says they will have to intervene if a dispute emerges between Irish Rail and the NTA
