Waterford minors hurlers will learn later this afternoon from Croke Park who they'll face in the All Ireland quarter final.
The Deise youngsters were disposed of their Provincial crown yesterday in Thurles by Clare as the Banner team bridged a 21 year gap as they won 1-16 to 1-11.
Waterford laboured for long periods in the game and though Eamon Murphy's goal threw them a lifeline in the second half it looked like two games in four days was a game too many for Jimmy Meaney's young side.
Waterford are in today's draw alongside Antrim, Dublin and Galway.
An open draw will determine the quarter final pairings for Sunday week's two fixtures.
